Guest Tips
The single most important tip for this hotel is to pack light. Yes, the staircase is beautiful. It is also deadly. Hauling a 30-kilo suitcase up two flights of winding stairs works muscles you never knew existed. This type of historic property really warrants backpackers and carry-on-size luggage travelers.
If you are sensitive to noise, then the wise thing would be to request a room at the back of the building. Of course, and as always, front rooms provide better views-in this case both street life and a small slice of sea they also get all the noise from that very busy street below them. The back rooms are more darkness but much quietness.
Lastly, control over the 'cash economy' is crucial here. While the hotel most probably accepts cards, the nearby parking lots and small stores prefer cash (Turkish Lira) as well. Since there's no pool at the hotel, ask reception for vouchers or recommendations for nearby beach clubs. often hotels have agreements with beach clubs that offer free entry or shuttles for their guests.
