The hotel sits on a thin lane right behind the Kyrenia Old Harbour (Girne Limanı). This is the tourist epicenter of Northern Cyprus. Practically next door to the Round Tower (historic gallery), a very short walk to the massive Kyrenia Castle with its Shipwreck Museum, this whole area comprises a labyrinth of narrow streets filled with souvenir and jewelry shops as well as restaurants.
That is why there are a hundred and one places to eat within two minutes’ walk from here, ranging from the posh seafood restaurants on the harbourfront to the cheaper kebab outlets in the backstreets. The famous Niazi’s Restaurant (charcoal grilled kebabs) is almost next door. However, this cannot be described as a beach hotel. To have a swim you will need either take a taxi or jump on public transport down to one of the beach clubs such as Escape Beach or Diana Beach since apparently harbours nowadays are strictly for boats only.
